‘Don Princess is a 12 year old weltmyer/ donnerhall chestnut mare who I have had the ride of for the last 5 years to compete in dressage. She had not competed before I got her but has been a delight to train from novice to advanced level.

Over the years Princess has been a very successful horse to campaign; winning the BYRDS NW championship, the BYRDS Inter-regional champion, podium placed at every BYRDS Home International representing England, qualified for all BD regional championships since I have had her, reserve BD national champion, highest placed amateur nationally and in the top 10 of all premier league FEI classes.

Unfortunately due to an injury in the field, the mare had to have a substantial amount of time off as well as a long rehab process. This meant she was stood still for long periods of time increasing any inflammation in her legs. During this period, we used the Equine Magnetix tendon boots to reduce any swelling. I found the magnets really helped to increase blood flow and help speed along her recovery process. A big thank you Samantha!!!

I am also a huge fan of the Equine Magnetix rugs; not only are they in funky colours but the magnets help to increase blood flow around the horses body. Before every competition and most lessons, my horses wear their rugs as I have noticed how much more supple they are over their backs when warming up.

I am now delighted to say Princess’s MRI results show a 99% recovery rate and she is back out competing at medium and advanced medium level! ( wahooo )!! Alongside studying to become a chiropractor, Princess and I are aiming for top placings in the BD Summer regional championships as well as working towards establishing ourselves at PSG level. A massive thank you to Equine Magnetix for such brilliant products!’

Thank you so much Antonia for sharing your story with us.  Wishing you a very successful season this year!
